TRICOUNTY MINOR HOCKEY LEAGUE

GENERAL MEETING

CALL TO ORDER: 7:30 pm

WELCOME: Kevin Cassidy welcomed all to the meeting.  Congratulations to  Tom-President of OMHA, Wayne-Vice-President Central Region OMHA, Fred-Regional Executive Member and Bob-Regional Executive Member.  Kevin looked back on the year and conveyed his appreciation  to all who worked on the Playoff Committee, to Geraldine for her internet work with Minor Hockey.net., the Centre contacts, ice schedulers and to Cindy.

MINUTES OF PAST MEETING:  motioned by Erin/Hillsburg, seconded by Oakville, carried

TREASURER REPORT: Ray asked for someone to motion to accept treasurer's report.  Motioned by Caledon, seconded by Erin/Hills, carried.

SECRETARY REPORT:  None

1st VP  Helen thanked those who are helping with the Anniversary plans.  Thea is working on a new logo.  All tournament dates Tri-County teams have entered for the 2006/2007 season to Helen again.  What should be done with old Tri-County trophies.  A list will be made.

3rd VP  Thea reported that she is working with the Original logo with 50th Anniversary added.

OMHA REPORT

Tom:   Thank you for attending OMHA annual meeting.  Mailing coming out soon.  Emphasis on rules next year.

Negotiations with Alliance for an interlock schedule with Region 3.  5 representatives attended-London, Waterloo and Cambridge.

They have 6 teams in one division and 7 teams in another.

Tom wished everyone a safe summer.

Wayne:  Reminder to fill out a Questionnaire from Hockey Canada.  Blue Pucks and mandatory for 6 years and below.  Dundas was reclassified to BB..

Bob:  Please check on teams and times that they are correct.

Fred:  Thank you for voting at AGM.  OMHA is hosting 3 OHF Championships.  Looking for hosts.  Must have application in by Aug 18th.

NEW BUSINESS:  Teams requesting division changes have all been approved.  Blue Pucks update on using for 7 year Tyke Select teams and below.  Moved by Burlington, seconded by Dundas.  carried
